Brief info
Stephen Gerritson was a founding member, longtime board member, and Chairman of the Washington Clean Technology Alliance, while serving as Vice President of the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County. In this role he helped hundreds of clean tech companies to get started and grow, creating thousands of jobs while reducing greenhouse gas and other emissions.
From 1990 to 1998, he was the founding director of LADCO, a research and policy development organization focused on improving air quality in the Great Lakes region. He then joined the Clean Air Action Corporation, providing assistance to Fortune 500 companies on reducing their emissions while improving their bottom line. In 1994, he was invited to join President Clinton’s Clean Air Advisory Committee, and remained on the committee until 2002, under President Bush. He also represented environmental interests on the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency’s Advisory Committee from 1999 to 2016.
Mr. Gerritson holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and a MPA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
