Mr. Bauer sees his involvement with IeRM as an important opportunity to advocate for greater integrity and transparency in waste management. He sees the concept of a circular economy as short sighted and is fighting for a Circular Society, because the global goals in dealing with waste must focus more on people and nature.

I joined the IeRM team, because they understand the urgency of what needs to be done and have a highly competent team of experts who are able to deliver integrated solutions from planning to implementation and ongoing operations that can ensure true sustainability in the long term.

We are making a mountain of garbage in the U.S. every year by burying it. The effects on our environment are devastating. The members of IeRM have many years of expertise solving environmental problems concerning solid waste management. I am proud to be a policy advisor to help promote rational, scientific-based solutions to our policymakers. Future generations depend on us to succeed.
